Badges are the symbol of achievement whether it’s personal development, skills and abilities or length of involvement within Scouting. They are all equally important to the member whether they be old or young, it’s a symbol of their hard work and dedication.
They have a special importance to those that receive them. We ask you to please help them to sow them on to their uniforms and let them be proud of their achievements. Their fellow group members will be looking to see what each other have on their uniforms, it’s a pride thing that every one of them works hard towards gaining their appropriate badges.
We appreciate it’s confusing all the different badges and their position on the uniform. So to help you understand the positioning of badges we’ve put together this page to help.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask one of the leaders when you drop off or collect.
